Beans from a roaster over in Todmorden, a proper pot of loose-leaf, and hot chocolate that needs a spoon.
We cook from scratch with what's good that week — vegetables from the market up the road, bread from a bakery in Mytholmroyd, eggs from a farm we can see from the hill.
It's the sort of place where the staff know the regulars' orders and there's always a water bowl by the door.
